  1. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies to enhance user experience, analyze website performance, and provide relevant content. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. You can control cookie usage through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect website functionality. For further details, refer to our Cookie Policy section below.

  • Tracking and Analytics Tools We use Google Analytics, which collects data on user interactions with the website in an anonymous form. This information helps us understand traffic patterns and improve user experience.
  • Security and Spam Prevention We use hcaptcha on certain pages to protect our forms from spam. This tool may collect information (such as your IP address and user behavior data) to determine if the user is a bot. For more details, please review hcaptcha Privacy Policy.

The embedding is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and in our interest of making our site as appealing and informative as possible.

Please note that the use of third-party content and features may result in your data being processed outside the EU or EEA (in particular in the US). For transfers to the USA, an adequate level of data protection is ensured due to the adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

8.1 Cookie Policy

Introduction Our website uses cookies and tracking technologies to enhance the user experience and provide protection against spam. This policy explains the types of cookies we use and how you can manage them.

8.1 a). What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files that store information on your device when you visit a website. They can enhance functionality, track site usage, or protect against spam.

8.1 b). Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly.
  • Analytics Cookies: We use Google Analytics cookies to  analyse how visitors interact with the site. These cookies collect information anonymously, allowing us to understand and improve website performance.

8.1 c). Managing Cookies via Consent banner

When you visit our website, you will see a cookie consent banner where you can choose to enable or disable certain types of cookies. You can also adjust your browser settings to manage cookies, although this may affect some website functionality.

We use a consent management platform (consent or cookie banner) on our websites. The processing in connection with the use of the consent management platform and the logging of the settings you have made is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to provide you with our content according to your preferences and to be able to prove your consent(s). The settings you have made, the consents you have given and parts of your usage data are stored in a cookie. This ensures that it is kept for further website visits and that your consents continue to be traceable. You can find more information about this under the section “Essential cookies”.

The provider of the consent management platform acts on our behalf and is strictly bound by our instructions (processor). A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded.

8.1 d). Tracking technologies:

Google Analytics

We use the web analysis tool “Google Analytics” to design our websites in accordance with the needs of our visitors. Google Analytics creates usage profiles based on pseudonyms. For this purpose, permanent cookies are stored on your device and accessed by us. This allows us to recognise returning visitors and count them as such.

We are supported by Google Ireland Limited as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR when using the Google Analytics service. The data processing by Google may also take place outside the EU or the EEA (especially in the USA). With regard to Google, an adequate level of data protection is ensured due to the adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Google is also obliged to conclude standard contractual clauses with further sub-processors.

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent if you have given your consent via our consent banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, please follow this link and make the appropriate settings via our banner.

  1. Embedded videos

We embed videos on our websites that are not stored on our servers. When you call up our pages with embedded videos, the content of the third-party provider that provides the videos is reloaded. The third-party provider is therefore able to obtain the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data that is technically required in this context

We have no influence on the further data processing by the third-party provider.

If data is processed outside the EU or the EEA (in particular in the USA) in this context, we provide information about the level of data protection in the following table.

  1. Captcha

To protect our web forms from automated requests, we use a so-called captcha from a third-party provider. Within the scope of the captcha function, you may be asked to solve tasks or click on checkboxes. The user input made in this context and possibly also the mouse movements are used to assess whether the input originates from a human or an automated program.

Since the function is provided by a third-party provider, the display of the captcha leads to content from the third-party provider being reloaded. The third-party provider is therefore able to obtain the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data that is technically required in this context. We have no influence on the further data processing by the third-party provider, but you can access information in the privacy policy of hcaptcha, available on the icon on our website.

The embedding is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and in our interest of protection against spam and abuse.

If data is processed outside the EU or the EEA (in particular in the USA) in this context, we provide information about the level of data protection in the following table.

For transfers to the U.S., an adequate level of data protection is ensured due to the certification of the provider under the adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
